They are lovely couples, do they?

Mandarin ducks often arrive at the breeding grounds in groups. When they first move to the breeding grounds, they are active in ponds and streams in the open areas of the low mountains. When they are resting, they live in groups near the water or on unmelted ice. In addition to the breeding season, they often live in groups, especially in the migration season and winter, with as many as 50-60 birds, sometimes nearly a hundred.

Mandarin ducks are good at swimming and diving, and they are also very good at walking on the ground. In addition to water activities, they often go to land for activities and foraging. They are very alert and take off immediately upon encountering people or other disturbances, with a shrill cry.

Mandarin ducks are alert by nature, very good at concealment, and have a strong ability to fly. After a full meal, when returning to the habitat, a pair of mandarin ducks often circling and reconnaissance over the habitat, and after confirming that there is no danger, they greet the large group to fall and rest together. If the situation is found, the alarm will be sounded and the comrades will flee quickly.
