Is it a sly hunter? Egret is good at using surprise tactics to catch fish.

The egret has very white hair, a slender neck, blue feet. Its toes are separated, its tail is short, and its mouth is about three inches long. There are more than a dozen long hairs on the top of the egret's head, which can be used as bait for fishing. It rests in the woods and feeds in the water. The egret has a slender body, large and round wings, a slightly webbed membrane between the inner toe and the middle toe, and a comb edge on the inner side of the claws of the middle toe.

The egret likes to fish for shrimps and snails, and its long beak, long neck and long legs are very convenient for preying on aquatic beings. The egret often stands still in the water, which is the heron's predation tactic. It is good at using sneak and surprise tactics to catch fish.

The egret stands motionless in the shallow water, with its neck bent, ready to use its beak to stab at the fish frogs swimming by. When they pass by, the egret can bend its neck down at great speed and catch them with its beak. They use a dozen long hairs on their heads as bait for fishing, and they walk with light, steady steps and unhurried steps.
